Renew and Regenerate is the leading forum for human resource and training professionals in Finland. The event is organised every other year and for the ninth time by the Finnish Association for Human Resource Management HENRY/Henrietta Ltd.

Renew and Regenerate is not only a large exhibition, but also a conference. Every other year close to 4000 visitors gather together to discover the latest products and services as well as to learn new ways to grow their knowledge in managing people. Over 100 exhibitors have taken up the excellent opportunity to display their products and services as well as prompt personal contacts in the exhibit halls during two days.

The theme of the event ties up the latest topics in the HR field, different elements of the programme and activities together into an entity with various streams.

The theme of 2011 is “Shifting Leadership”. The hierarchical, traditional organisations are being replaced by dynamic structures that are based on networks and self leadership. The winners of the future are said to be those flexible organisations that decentralise leadership by delegating power to the teams, key people and employees based on the real expertise in the context. What does the decision making that is shifting onto different organisational levels call for strategically and operatively from supervisors, employees and human resource management? The future challenges of HR and HR professionals in the changing operative environment will be discussed by the many speakers in the numerous seminars and presentations.
